You will have all you need including a professional tour guide, a cook and porters who will carry all the equipment while hiking in the mountains of La Cordillera de los Andes. · Upon arrival met by tour guide and transferred to the river port
· 30 minute motor boat to the Tambopata reserve followed by short trekking and canoe ride to the Sandoval Lake Lodge
· During the afternoon enjoy introductory walks around the jungle lodge and lake
· Overnight at Sandoval Lake Lodge.
· Early morning sunrise at the Sandoval Lake and canoe tour to see the giant otters, fishes, and birds
· Late breakfast at the lodge
· Rest of the morning at leisure to enjoy the nature of the Amazon jungle
· In the afternoon another Lake Sandoval excursion to see different types of monkeys and Black Caymans, large members of the alligator family
· Overnight at Sandoval Lake Lodge
· After a dawn breakfast, final short paddle around the west end of the lake for a glimpse of the Giant Otters before returning to Puerto Maldonado
· Motor boat back to Puerto Maldonado
· Flight from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco
· Arrival in Cusco and private transfer to your hotel
· Rest of the day at leisure for acclimatization

· Today you will walk through the highest pass of the trail, Warmi Huañusca, at 13,800 feet

· Overnight at Pacaymayo campsite
· Third day of the Inca Trail from Pacaymayo to Wiñay Wayna
· Today we will pass by different archeological Incan sites with wonderful views
· Approximate walking distance / time-- 10 miles / 9 hours
· Overnight at Wiñay Wayna campsite located at 11,900 feet
· Fourth and last day of the Inka trail
· Early morning 2 hour walk to get to the Gate of the Sun, ”Inti Punku”, for a great view overlooking Machu Picchu. “Words cannot express the spectacular beauty of this part of the Inca trail.”
· Arrival to Machu Picchu citadel and transfer to your hotel to relax all morning after the long hike
· After lunch a private tour of Machu Picchu ruins and sunset over Machu Picchu

· The morning train from Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo
· Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo private transfer to Cusco
