Mountain Bike Tour Cusco
Route 1:
Cusco Ruins
After hotel pick-up we take a tourist bus above Cusco to the Inca remains of Tambomachay to begin our ride. Taking the off-road trail and paved road, we get an unconventional glimpse of the archaeological park of Sacsayhuayman (includes the sites of Sacsayhuayman, Q’enko, Pukapukara, Zone X, and Tambomachay).

Route 2:
Yuncaypata - Enaco
We drive by bus to the village overlooking Cusco called Yuncaypata. From here we begin this exciting off-road adventure which includes panoramic views of Cusco and its surroundings. The trip ends just south of Cusco, from where we take our transport back to Cusco.

Route 3:
Maras - Moray - Salt Mines
In the morning we drive from Cusco through the scenic Sacred Valley, where we’ll stop near the small Andean village of Chincheros. Here we prepare the bikes and begin our descent on a dirt road past the beautiful Lake Huaypo and then gradually climb to the circular Inca terraces of Moray. After visiting this ancient laboratory, we continue on to the colonial town of Maras and then to a sharp off-road descent through the Saltpans of Maras. We come out near a bridge that crosses the Urubamba River. After lunch we take our transport back to Cusco or spend the night in the Sacred Valley.

Route 4:
Pachar - Ollantaytambo
In the morning we depart Cusco via the southern route to the Sacred Valley and the town of Izcuchaca. We stop to prepare the bikes and pedal on paved road through highland farms to the Andean village of Huarocondo. From its small colonial plaza, we take a dirt road that winds gradually down to the Sacred Valley. This scenic ride high above the Pachar River joins Inca terraces and ends in the ancient village of Ollantaytambo.
